Job Overview

This position focuses on the preparation and mixing of material batches, specifically in the polymerization of polyurethane substances. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting visual inspections of produced materials.
  • Submitting product samples for evaluation.
  • Classifying materials according to established specifications.
  • Overseeing the packaging of completed products.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of batch processes.
  • Managing inventory levels of raw materials.
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained in a clean and operational state.

Additionally, this role involves supporting medical personnel in the application, upkeep, and removal of casts, traction devices, and other orthopedic support mechanisms as directed. Responsibilities also include:

  • Educating patients and their families about the proper use and maintenance of casts and durable medical equipment (DME).
  • Providing guidance to staff and students regarding casting procedures and care.
