Job Title: CDL A or B Local Propane Delivery Driver

AmeriGas Propane, the nation's largest propane distributor, is seeking a safety-minded and customer-focused Delivery Representative in Craig, CO. As a Delivery Representative, you will be responsible for delivering propane and filling tanks for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
  • Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
  • Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
  • Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid CDL A or B license
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
  • Mountain Driving Experience Required
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Propane industry experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to load/unload 50-pound cylinders (up to 200/day) and pull 75-pound hoses that are 150 feet or more
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $25 to $26
  • Average of 40-50 hours weekly
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours worked at time and a half
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus – $2,500 paid after 90 days and $2,500 paid after 1 year
  • $2,500 employee referral program
  • Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales
  • Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly
Work Environment:
  • Home Time: Home every night
  • Shift: Day shift schedule; start times vary by location; shifts will be 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating needs
  • Scheduling requirements year round:
    • Committing to a paid rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergencies after hours
  • Scheduling requirements during peak season:
    • Hours can vary during peak season. Can work up to 60 hours a week
    • Working 6-day work weeks with 10-hour shifts and paid overtime
    • Working weekends and holidays
Equipment:
  • Fleet consists of a variety of vehicles, including medium-and heavy-duty power units with bulk, flatbed, box, and curtain trailers
  • Automatic transmission
  • Inward and outward event-triggered cameras
