Vascular Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasonographer to join our team at Milner Vein and Vascular LLC. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to diagnose venous insufficiency and other vascular conditions.

• Obtain patients' personal information and medical history, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
• Prepare treatment areas for ultrasound examinations and position patients on ultrasound tables, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
• Explain ultrasound procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Apply non-invasive ultrasound techniques to diagnose venous insufficiency, utilizing advanced equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Make adjustments to equipment to optimize image quality, ensuring accurate diagnostic information.
• Compare patients' most recent scans to previous results, assessing diagnostic information and providing summarized findings to doctors in a timely manner.
• Handle hazardous substances and biological waste according to prescribed protocols, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Document processes and maintain patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
• Stay informed of advancements in vascular technology, applying new knowledge and skills to improve patient care.

We require a strong understanding of vascular anatomy and pathology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be willing to travel between offices located in Macon and Griffin, GA. No call, no weekends Willing to train.
