About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at LifeLong Medical Care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental staff in all phases of dentistry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentist(s) chair side in all phases of dentistry, including taking diagnostic intra-oral x-rays and sterilizing instruments.
  • Manage patient behavior during treatment and provide excellent patient care skills.
  • Operate dental radiographic equipment for oral radiology and follow infection control protocols.
  • Document treatment and patient information in dental software program.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of certified Dental Assisting Training Program and valid California Radiology License.
  • Current CPR from AHA approved organization.
  • Knowledge of proper use of all dental materials and dental equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of relevant dental clinic experience.
  • Experience with dental software system.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
