Job Title: Physicist

Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scientific analysis and computational modeling to evaluate radiation environments and their effects on strategic weapon systems and personnel.
  • Contribute to team efforts in completing normal, hostile, and fratricide environment studies of reentry systems.
  • Perform radiation transport calculations of free-field and internal dose levels in Navy systems.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to technical SMEs and government customers.
  • Interface directly with the customer and travel for meetings and customer interactions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement is a BS Degree in Physics or Nuclear Engineering with 5-7 years of experience; MS with 3-5 years of experience; or PhD with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Experience in experimental design, execution, and modeling.
  • Experience in writing technical reports or articles.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.

Equal Pay Act:

The projected compensation range for this position is $87,341.64 to $151,870.16. Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation, offering benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement and savings plans.
