Overview:

Our team of dedicated professionals works together to create a supportive and non-judgmental space for patients to heal and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for the assigned patients.
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care with other departments.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards.

Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • License: Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the state of Missouri and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift, position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
