Nutrition Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nutritionist to join our team at Monte Nido & Affiliates. As a Clinical Nutritionist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nutrition assessments, developing personalized meal plans, and participating in treatment team planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients to identify nutritional needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Prescribe and implement meal plans that support patients' nutritional goals and promote overall health and well-being.
• Lead individual and group nutritional therapy sessions to educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition principles.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address patients' physical and emotional needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and continuity.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Nutrition or a related field (Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience may be considered).
• Registered Dietitian (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensed Dietitian (LDN) with the state of Massachusetts.
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, motivational interviewing, and nutrition care process.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
