Job Responsibilities

As a Sprinkler System Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical, sprinkler, and suppression life safety product lines. Your duties will include:

  • Meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.
  • Accurately discerning and documenting deficiencies found during an inspection.
  • Professionally representing the company at all times.
  • Completing Service Acknowledgement/inspections with proper coding.
  • Following and maintaining a highly structured inspection schedule.
  • Making minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected.
  • Completing assigned inspections on time.
  • Performing other duties as directed.
  • Carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Performing work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • NICET I certification or ability to obtain within 8 months of hire.
  • Able to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes.
  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends.
  • Willing to travel out of town.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
