We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at Tire Discounters. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers' vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to diagnose and repair issues efficiently and effectively.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure functionality and safety.
- Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with state requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and promote a positive work environment.
- Assist with tasks as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Minimum two years of experience in automotive repair, with ASE certifications preferred.
- Valid Virginia Inspector license and at least one year of experience as a Virginia State Inspector.
- Own tools (we offer a great tool purchase program).
- Diagnostic scanner experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently follow store policies and procedures.
- Desire and ability to work in a team environment.
- Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Availability to work on Saturdays.
