Job Summary

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. You will assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Your duties will also include performing procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider, documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record, administering prescribed medications and monitoring response, and maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, obtained within 1 year of employment start date

Your estimated annual salary for this position is $93,600, based on national averages and industry standards. This amount may vary based on experience and qualifications.
