Job Overview

The Radiologic Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services while adhering to established protocols and regulatory standards. This position demands efficiency and precision in producing radiographs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting standard X-ray examinations including Chest, Extremity, Spinal, and Abdomen X-rays.
  • Accurately documenting all imaging procedures and facilitating effective communication between healthcare providers and radiologists through internal software systems.
  • Maintaining comprehensive quality control records, including patient logs and compliance checklists as per health department regulations.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting equipment and software issues, promptly notifying management for necessary service interventions.
  • Supporting patient flow and ensuring seamless communication among clinical staff through established protocols.
  • Measuring and recording vital signs in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Assisting with basic clinical tasks such as CLIA waived tests, EKGs, and the application of splints and slings.
  • Upholding cleanliness and organization in all clinical areas, including waiting rooms and examination suites.
  • Contributing to a positive healthcare environment by delivering exceptional patient care and adhering to best practices.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively guide patients through procedures.
  • Ability to perform essential X-ray tasks, including patient positioning and equipment adjustments.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
  • Flexibility to work full-time, including weekends.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in various computer systems.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to fostering healthy workplace relationships.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred based on location.
Physical Requirements

This role may involve lifting moderate weights and requires extensive computer use.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $36-$40 per hour, with a sign-on bonus included. Benefits include:
