Job Overview:

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's free PreK program for eligible four-year-olds. As a Lead GSRP Teacher, you will provide group instruction and individualized prescriptive programming for each child, monitoring their development and implementing academic, behavior, health, and nutrition plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress, using the COR assessment tool to inform instruction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress
  • Collaborate with associate teachers to plan and implement activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and events that support the total educational experience for all children
Qualifications:

We are looking for an energetic and passionate GSRP Teacher who meets one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or child development with specialization in preschool teaching
  • Elementary Certification with a ZA or ZS Endorsement that is current
  • Birth through Kindergarten Certification
  • PreK through 3rd grade Certification
  • Masters degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Ability to supply transcripts
