Job Description:

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a skilled Flight Readiness Technician to join our team. This position is located in a prominent client's facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and inspect flight component installation and operational functional testing of aircraft systems.
  • Inspect and verify troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and document faulty components.
  • Conduct inspection of pre-flight and post-flight checks and perform inspections of maintenance and modification prior to delivery.
  • Support documentation of identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products.
  • Verify the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection.
  • Assist in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance inspections in preparation for delivery.
  • Participate in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives.
  • Plan, schedule, and arrange own activities with the assistance of a lead.
  • Inspect, document, and create non-conformance records with minimal assistance.
Requirements:
  • High school degree or GED required.
  • 4+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • 3+ years' experience in the aerospace industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Velocity and other 787 production applications.
  • Experience in a team environment.
  • Pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Firframe & Power Plant license.
  • 3+ years of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk experience.
  • 3+ years of 787 Program Experience.
  • 2+ years of Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
  • Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and Client specifications.
  • Proficient in all forms of Client (Non-Conformance Record) and EPD (Emergent Process Document) generation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 3+ year of flight line operations experience.
