Physical Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist II to join our team at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. As a Physical Therapist II, you will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients with cancer and other diagnoses, with a focus on oncology patients.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
- Administer and interpret tests and measurements of muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
- Instruct patients and their caregivers/families in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, canes, crutches, and other equipment or devices.
- Maintain patient documentation, including writing initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, home programs, and insurance authorization requirements.
- Devising special tools and treatment methods for the specific needs of each patient served.
- Evaluating treatment goals and progress towards these goals.
- Serving as a clinical resource for all Fred Hutch departments and clinicians.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- At least 3 years of relevant clinical physical therapy experience.
- WA State Physical Therapy License (or meet DOH criteria for the Physical Therapist Compact Privilege).
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
- Demonstrates behaviors that are consistent with Fred Hutch's Mission and Values.
- APTA Certified Clinical Instructor.
- APTA Oncology Clinical Specialist Certification.
- Experience in providing physical therapy to general oncology/hematology and bone marrow/stem cell transplant patients.
- Lymphedema training and/or experience.
We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $51.48 to $77.20, which includes the per diem differential, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. We also offer access to a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, and paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked).
