Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Skilled Nursing Supervisor. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for directing the delivery of patient care, ensuring the highest quality services are delivered in a customer-service-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders.
  • Staff Supervision: Evaluate staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing, and oversee the function and activities of subordinate staff.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication/treatments as prescribed, and receive, transcribe, and implement physician's orders.
  • Care Planning: Implement and evaluate care plans, and identify/secures equipment supplies.
  • Staff Performance: Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
  • Infection Control: Monitor's infection control compliance, and investigates/documents accidents/incidents.
Requirements
  • Current, valid licensure as a LVN required
  • Experience in long-term healthcare preferred
  • Management/Supervisory experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed
  • Strong written and verbal skills required
