We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse Specialist to join our team at Penn State Health.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our ED, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your expertise and professionalism will be invaluable in helping us achieve our mission to improve health through patient care, research, education, and community outreach.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' needs and developing individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency nursing or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
