Cynet Health is seeking a skilled ER Float Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Float RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various emergency room satellite locations in the West Valley region.
Job Summary:This is a 13-week assignment with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. You will be required to work every other weekend as part of the shift requirement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be proficient in sterile field practices, dysrhythmia exam completion, and SIM Lab skills.
Responsibilities:- Float between various emergency room satellite locations in the West Valley region.
- Schedule provided in advance to ensure awareness of reporting locations.
- COVID declination accepted for medical or religious reasons.
- Pass a dysrhythmia exam before starting, with two maximum attempts allowed.
- Complete pass/fail SIM Lab on Day 1 for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes; critical to maintaining sterile field.
- Additional training includes lifts, restraints, and wound care (educational-based).
- Be one of only two RNs on staff at satellite locations.
- Handle patient ratios of 4:1 using the Cerner EMR system.
- Wear Galaxy Blue scrubs during shifts.
- Perform lab draws and operate vent equipment as needed.
- Participate in floorspecific orientation to adapt to policies and equipment which may vary by facility.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Proficient in sterile field practices, dysrhythmia exam completion, and SIM Lab skills.
- Ability to work every other weekend as part of the shift requirement.
- COVID declination accepted for medical or religious reasons.
