We are seeking a skilled Nurse Float Specialist to join our team at BJC HealthCare. This is a per diem / prn nursing position in Saint Louis, Missouri, offering flexible shifts and a choice of schedule.
About the RoleThis role provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. The successful candidate will promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, educate patients on how to manage their illness or injury, and participate in professional development.
The Nurse Float Specialist will develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver. Proactive planning and communication across the continuum of care are essential for this role.
Requirements- Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing degree
- No experience required
BJC HealthCare offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and legal services available first day of the month after hire date.
