Job Summary

As a Clinical Psychologist on our Child Team, you will play a vital role in providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children and adolescents. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our young patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs.
  • Conduct psychological assessments, including test administration and interpretation, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children and adolescents, as well as their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in staff conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Develop and conduct psychoeducational classes and groups to support patient education and empowerment.
Requirements
  • PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and psychotherapy research methods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated experience in psychological evaluations of children and adolescents, including administering and writing up psychological testing and assessment batteries.
  • Professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities.
