Scrum Master

At Georgia IT Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team in Cerritos, CA. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in guiding our software development team in applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

• Lead the team in adopting and implementing Scrum principles and practices.
• Facilitate self-organization and empowerment of the team to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Assess and coach the team to higher levels of Scrum maturity, ensuring a sustainable and comfortable pace.
• Remove impediments and guide the team to do the same.
• Build a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame or retribution.
• Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Support and educate the Product Owner on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Stay up-to-date with widely successful Agile techniques, including User Stories, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Testing.
• Possess the ability to explain processes, methodologies, and techniques to various audiences.
• Have knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach.
• Hold a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Familiarity with other Agile approaches, such as XP, Kanban, and FDD.
