  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to the standards of licensed practical nursing.
  • Assists in the preparation of medical equipment and supports physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Handles patient inquiries via phone regarding treatment instructions and test results, as directed by the healthcare provider.
  • Coordinates patient admissions, referrals, and special procedures as needed.
  • Maintains a tidy and organized work environment, ensuring clinical areas are well-stocked with medical supplies.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and sterilization of medical instruments and surgical trays.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or requested by supervisors.
Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and possess a valid West Virginia nursing license.

Experience:

Previous nursing experience is required.
