The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will perform high-quality x-rays as per physician's orders while delivering exceptional patient care.

This part-time (0.75) position involves working variable shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at our Eagan clinic.

A $3,500 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on the first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and develop quality x-rays on designated portions of the body for physician's use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury.
  • Inform and prepare patients for procedures.
  • Maintain radiology files, including internal and external films.
  • Prepare, clean, and stock work areas with supplies.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain necessary precautions for excessive exposure to radiation.
  • May supply patients with requested x-rays.
  • Assist provider teams in obtaining imaging from other medical facilities for clinics and surgeries as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • ARRT Certification in radiology required within 60 days of employment.
  • Previous radiology experience preferred.

Essential Requirements:

  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines.
  • Complete job-required training.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.).
  • Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.
  • Work in the clinic during business hours.
  • Travel independently throughout the clinic (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping, or sitting for long periods of time may be required.
  • Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of daily operations.
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Understand and execute a variety of instructions.
  • Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Travel to other work locations, if required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
  • Frequent lift up to 35 lbs., occasional lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. or persons in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 lbs.
  • Frequent patient positioning, including bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching.
