Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Education: A graduate from an accredited school is required.
  • Certifications: Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Must be able to communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
  • Patient Care: Must be able to provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Medication Administration: Must be able to administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Must be able to monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Must be able to share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Must be able to maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Patient Transportation: Must be able to transport patients as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to work with diverse personnel (professional and support staff) while maintaining a positive demeanor and professional appearance.
  • Technical Skills: Must be able to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment.
  • Cognitive Demands: Must be able to manage frequent interactions with the public and customers and meet deadlines under pressure. Must be comfortable working under occasional close supervision or independently.
  • Sensory Skills: Must have keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities.
