Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive accurate and timely medication information and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient pharmacy operation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
