Imaging Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Optum. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality digital mammograms and follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Explain procedures to patients and observe them to ensure their safety and comfort during exams.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of mammography equipment and adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and use radiation safety measures to comply with government regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certification or eligibility in Mammography.
  • Active WA state license or pending application.
