Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum services.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify potential health risks and develop strategies for prevention and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in midwifery and obstetrics.
Requirements
  • Current certification as an Advance Practice Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Current Texas midwife certification.
  • One year of full-time post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse populations.
  • Leadership skills to direct others toward successful patient outcomes.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate patient status and healthcare procedures.
  • Fiscal skills to monitor and control costs and revenue.
