Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at ID Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inbound and outbound freight, coordinating trailer movements, and supervising loading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and expedite the flow of inbound and outbound freight to meet customer deadlines.
• Review appointment schedules to ensure timely unloading of trailers.
• Coordinate trailer movements using our Yard Management System.
• Ensure labor coverage matches daily workload requirements.
• Utilize systems and software to design and report process efficiency.
• Organize daily product movement and ensure maximum cubic feet and weight requirements are met.
• Assign appointments and inbound drops to appropriate doors.
• Assign empty trailers for loading to designated Club doors.
• Assign inbound trailers to dock doors.
• Supervise loading operations and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Observe and enforce company safety rules.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds.
• 3 years of experience in a warehousing/distribution environment.
• Ability to sit, walk, and stand for long periods.
• Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center.
