**Job Summary**

GROWMARK is seeking a skilled Seasonal Grain Operator to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural solutions team, you will be responsible for handling grain, ensuring quality, and providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Handle grain (incoming and outbound) and ensure quality, maintaining equipment and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Assist in all areas of the unloading, loading, and transferring of grain and grain products, including truck and rail operations.
  • Monitor the quality and condition of all grain moving through or stored in the facility.
  • Operate conveyance equipment used in shipping, receiving, and transferring grain and grain products, and associated safety systems.
  • Use proper aeration techniques to maintain grain quality and minimize shrinkage.
  • Ensure proper segregation of all inbound grain and perform effective blending of all outbound grain.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, thanking them for their patronage, and assisting with loading and unloading grain.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of loading, unloading areas, and facility.
  • Monitor equipment and report or correct equipment failures.
  • Attend safety training and safety meetings, and report unsafe conditions or behavior immediately.

**Requirements:**

  • Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and farm or agriculture knowledge.
  • Work flexible hours through the harvest season, which runs approximately mid-September to mid-November.
  • Frequently required to lift 50 pounds or more and work at heights over 150 feet.
  • Frequently exposed to dust, heat, cold, and high noise levels.
