We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Raleigh Radiology.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI studies for outpatients, coordinating patient care, and maintaining professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI studies for outpatients, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Coordinate patient care, including assessing patient condition, documenting relevant information, and communicating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain professional standards, adhering to established protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the MRI Supervisor and/or Senior Manager of Clinical Operations to ensure smooth operation of the imaging center.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience with ARRT registration.
  • Previous experience in a busy office or hospital is preferred.
  • AHA BLS certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R)(ARRT), at time of hire.
  • Registered in MRI with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R)(MR)(ARRT) preferred upon hire.
Desired Skills
  • Basic patient care skills, including first aid and BLS.
  • Excellent technical skills in MR.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions based on patient condition, and follow directions.
