Job Summary

The Evaluation Specialist at Autism Matters is responsible for completing comprehensive diagnostic assessments and evaluations. This role requires a high level of expertise in assessment and evaluation methods, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and evaluations to identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address identified issues.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including ABA, Speech, Psychotherapy, and Occupational Therapy teams, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document client information, including session notes, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments and treatment plans.
  • Consult with other professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on assessment and treatment methods.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of autism assessment and treatment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • CMDE Provider certification with the MN DHS Regulations.
  • License eligibility in the mental health field.
  • Training and experience with initial diagnoses and ongoing diagnostic assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
