Staff Nurse Full Time Nights

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff RN to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a Staff RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and empowered to make informed decisions about their care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care, utilizing standards of care developed by Steward Health Care.
- Apply knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served, including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Initiate and coordinate patient teaching, delegating responsibilities for care when applicable, and making assignments according to the skills of caregivers.
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions, utilizing established policy and procedure of Steward Health Care.
- Demonstrate an ability to plan and supervise other patient caregivers in providing patient care on the unit, functioning as a professional role model.
- Administer medication and perform treatments, utilizing principles of aseptic technique, according to established policy and procedure of Steward Health Care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience.
- MA RN License.
- BLS and/or ACLS required.
- Additional certification required where applicable.
