Position DetailsWe are currently seeking skilled ICU Travel RNs to provide care in critical settings.
Compensation: $2,246 weekly
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks | 36 Hours | Night Shifts
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and gather detailed medical histories.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Perform triage while considering both physical and psychological aspects of patient care.
- Stabilize patients in basic life support situations until the attending physician arrives.
- Monitor vital signs and document all patient care accurately and promptly.
- Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications via various routes and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Provide IV therapy and basic bedside care to patients.
- Maintain adequate medical supplies and equipment for patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Initiate and implement patient education plans as directed by physicians.
- Educate patients on managing their conditions, including post-treatment care and rehabilitation.
- Demonstrate professionalism while managing multiple urgent tasks efficiently.
- Ensure all care documentation is concise, accurate, and completed in a timely manner.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience (floating experience is not applicable) - Required
- Comfort with EKG readings - Required
- Experience in Neuro, CVICU, and Trauma - Preferred
- Experience managing ventilators - Preferred
- Experience with CRRT and Balloon Pumps - Preferred
- Willingness to float to similar units - Required
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- Active Michigan License
- Every Other Weekend
- No On-Call Duties
