About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at MRG Exams as a Veterans Audiologist Assessment Specialist. This is an in-person, part-time position that offers a unique opportunity to serve the Veteran community by conducting medical assessments for disability benefits.
Job Summary: The successful candidate will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans using standardized tests, including the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. The Audiologist will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal, which serves as the medical evidence for the VA's decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical assessments on 3-6 Veterans per day, with each appointment lasting approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Review patient medical records uploaded into the computer portal prior to appointments
- Administer the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test to assess hearing abilities
- Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal to provide medical evidence for the VA's decision-making process
Requirements:
- Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school
- Current license as an Audiologist
- Malpractice Insurance covered by MRG
- Health insurance options available
- ASHA Learning Pass membership (CEU)
