Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Contribute to the assessment of patients in close collaboration with Registered Nurses, ensuring comprehensive care plans are developed and implemented.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and observe patients to ensure they do not experience adverse reactions.
- Lab Tests and Therapeutic Services: Perform routine lab tests and therapeutic services as required.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about recommended disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care.
- Safety and Emergency Response: Identify safety hazards and emergency situations to keep residents safe, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Education and Licensure: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date, BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
