About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Sentara PACE in Norfolk. As a valued member of our Home Care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our frail seniors who wish to remain in their homes and community.

Job Summary:

  • Provide basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.
  • Requires a minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

  • $25,500 - $30,000 per year salary based on experience.

Requirements:

  • HS/GED or Graduate from a state approved Nursing Assistant Program/Trade School required.
  • Licensed Nursing Assistant with VDH required.
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
