We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains in good condition.
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy by conducting thorough inspections and making necessary repairs.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary tools are on hand.
- Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to management.
- Ensure a professional appearance by maintaining the required property uniform.
- Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
- Be available to work on an on-call basis and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
- Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday.
- Remove snow and ice as necessary.
- Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and respond to 24-hour service requests.
Requirements:
- Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Property maintenance/handyman experience.

Compensation:
Full-time employees will receive a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Additionally, we offer vacation and sick time, health and wellness programs, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and short-term disability coverage.
