Job Summary

As a Senior International Tax Associate at Grant Thornton, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality international tax services to clients across various industries. Your expertise will be sought after by managers, associates, and other teammates to help clients navigate complex business problems and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide international tax services that provide measurable value to clients
  • Advise clients on international tax matters, including complex business returns and tax savings opportunities
  • Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on international tax projects
  • Research and analyze international and domestic tax issues
  • Utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters
  • Write and review tax advice for clients
  • Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum two years' experience of progressive tax consulting, preferably with at least one year focused on international taxation
  • Experience with a large accounting firm, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company
  • CPA or JD/active law license required
  • Advanced analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in U.S. tax compliance and consulting
  • Ability to supervise staff and lead projects
  • Exceptional client service skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Can travel as needed
