Job Summary

The Domicile Delivery Driver is a customer-facing position responsible for delivering products to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The driver will work away from the operating company at a designated domiciled location, loading and unloading products from trailers and hand trucks, and interacting with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Management: Run daily routes with frequent stops, loading and unloading products from trailers and hand trucks, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Product Handling: Load and unload products from trailers and hand trucks, and ensure products are stored in designated customer storage areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain company equipment, follow written driver safety rules, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Communication: Communicate with management and colleagues to resolve issues, provide updates, and share information.
Requirements
  • Education: High School or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
  • License: Valid Commercial Driver's License – Class B (Class A preferred).
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills.
Physical Demands
  • Frequent lifting of products up to 50 lbs. during the shift, infrequent lifting to 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.
