Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Mercy. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Consult with physicians to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans.
  • Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
  • Perform duties as assigned, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of respiratory care policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • ACLS certification.
  • Preferred experience in critical care.
