About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to join our team at Charter Communications. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will assist in gathering, refining, and validating end-user business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks, and issues using various techniques, including interviews, user stories/requirements, prototyping, data analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis.

You will also assist in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and/or business processes to meet user requirements, change requests, enhancements, and/or issues. Additionally, you will maintain supporting functional and technical documentation, communicate and collaborate with internal users, and articulate and distinguish user requests from the underlying need.

This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our development team and business users to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, refining, and validating end-user business requirements
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop systems and/or business processes to meet user requirements
  • Maintain supporting functional and technical documentation
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal users
  • Articulate and distinguish user requests from the underlying need

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Business/systems Analysis, Database Warehouse knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Analytical skills
  • Collaboration skills
  • Communication skills - verbal and written
  • Drives results through effective project and time management
