Job Title: Cafeteria Monitor

Job Summary:

The Cafeteria Monitor is a part-time employee responsible for overseeing students in the school lunchroom. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive and safe environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students during lunchtime to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Assist students with mealtime needs, such as opening containers and dispensing napkins
  • Encourage good table manners and respect for others
  • Help parents, relatives, and visitors in the lunchroom
  • Arrange tables for seating and assist with clean-up
  • Know the fire exits and perform related work as required
Qualifications:
  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Knowledge of student behavior and ability to work effectively with children
  • Good human relations and communication skills
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position with varying hours. The salary is $15.65 per hour, and the employee reports to the Principal and/or Assistant Principal.
