Compensation: $30-$31.50 per hour based on prior experience

Potential Earnings: Full-time employees can earn an 18% increase (up to $37.17 per hour) or part-time employees can earn a 5% increase (up to $33.08) by choosing our Pay-In-Lieu Option.

Work Schedules:
  • Full-time: 80 hours per pay period, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with every other weekend
  • Part-time: 51 hours per pay period, available in both 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm shifts, requiring every other weekend
Essential Qualifications: To successfully perform this role, candidates must be able to fulfill each critical duty effectively. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.   • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Virginia
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and external agencies
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Ability to comprehend residents' charts, medical orders, and care plans
  • Competently gather clinical data regarding resident status and condition
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in a long-term care environment is preferred
Core Responsibilities:
  • Exemplifies positive communication skills with all staff, residents, families, and visitors
  • Adheres to all shift routines, policies, and procedures related to monitoring vital signs, weights, medication administration, and treatments
  • Promptly reports any suspected abuse or neglect in accordance with facility policy
  • Accurately utilizes electronic documentation systems as required by facility policy
