Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide surgical instruments to the surgical team in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate patient care with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
  • Perform duties in accordance with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Non-licensed/certified candidates may be considered.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary certificate or associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.
  • Surgical Technology Certification preferred.
