Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. in Springdale, Arkansas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of our maintenance stockroom, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and providing exceptional support to our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of the maintenance stockroom, including inventory management and organization.
  • Request quotes, verify pricing, and maintain inventory accuracy of part orders.
  • Process and issue purchase orders to vendors, ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Maintain the maintenance checkbook, including issuing POs, verification, and entry of invoices.
  • Coordinate and sign off on service repairs with forklift providers as assigned by work order requests.
  • Source and meet with new vendors to obtain services or cost improvements.
  • Perform monthly inventory counts of maintenance chemical supplies and update database inventory.
  • Conduct facility and equipment safety inspections as assigned.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of stock parts and help identify and prioritize immediate equipment repairs versus stock parts.
  • Assist in updating CMMS eMaint inventory and distribute parts to work orders.
  • Unpack maintenance part deliveries, stock team members' bins, and process receiving of parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts room, including housekeeping.
  • Manage stock levels of parts, review maintenance stocking levels, trends, and obsolete items.
  • Pick up and deliver parts as needed.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Must successfully complete and pass forklift safety training.
  • Previous inventory control experience.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Outlook, Mail, and MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, working in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Consultative, influential, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting. Frequent activities include talking and hearing, standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, and/or crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using hands and fingers to operate machinery/equipment and all manual and electronic equipment in the area of responsibility. Occasional activities include squatting, kneeling, and reaching above and at shoulder height. Ability to wear a dust mask and perform Confined Entry using the LOTO program. Exposure to wet and humid conditions and fluctuations in ambient temperature (seasonal).
