Position Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Specialist - Central Operations will deliver both technical and tactical support for scheduled and unscheduled equipment failures and outages across production facilities. This role involves providing technical assistance on medium and high voltage systems, 250VDC supply, air compressors, CNC machinery, crane radio control systems, network systems, PLCs, and AC/DC drives. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with Engineering on the tuning, checkout, and commissioning of new and modified equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and mentor Unit Supervisors and technicians, fostering continuous improvement in technical skills across the organization.


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Must successfully complete an electrical proficiency assessment.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship, four years of on-the-job training, or an electrical degree from an accredited technical institution
  • Extensive electrical experience, particularly with combustion systems
  • Familiarity with medium and high voltage systems
  • Experience with network systems
  • Strong capability to interpret electrical schematics, troubleshoot to root cause, and execute repairs to restore equipment functionality.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, AC & DC motors, and variable speed drives.
  • Experience with combustion systems or commercial/industrial boilers.
