Job Opportunity: School Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant.

About the Role

This position is responsible for supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development in Fort Smith, AR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students' learning needs, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
  • Counseling and Support: Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students facing academic or emotional challenges, and work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analysis to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Professional Development: Participate in special education evaluations and eligibility determinations, and serve as a resource for staff on best practices in addressing students' mental health and behavioral needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  1. A master's degree or higher in School Psychology or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution.
  2. An active State School Psychologist License.
  3. National certification through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) is preferred but not required.
  4. Previous experience working as a school psychologist or in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory for new graduates with appropriate training and internships.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. Our work schedule follows the school district's academic calendar, with optional summer sessions.
