Overview of Responsibilities:
This role involves administrative, managerial, and technical tasks related to the effective operation and upkeep of the city's public works sectors. The supervisor oversees all municipal staff, excluding those in finance and recreational services. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. The position operates under the general oversight of the City Council and includes supervision of both permanent and temporary personnel.

Administrative Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to federal and state guidelines.
Support the Finance Officer in budget formulation, as well as in searching for and applying for grants.
Create and uphold a Safety Manual, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
Establish work schedules for department staff and seasonal maintenance workers.

Operational Management:


Oversees and manages the city's Public Works Departments, which encompass Streets, Water, Wastewater, Rubble Site, Solid Waste Management, Parks, Swimming Facilities, Cleanup Initiatives, Equipment Maintenance, and Building Upkeep.

Addresses and resolves all complaints related to the aforementioned municipal functions, taking corrective measures as needed, and reporting all issues to the City Council.

$50,000 - $75,000 annually
