Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring adherence to all payroll laws and regulations.
- Oversee time and attendance tracking.
- Address inquiries, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Collaborate with employees and supervisors to maintain a flawless payroll system.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives for employees.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing clear information on options and eligibility.
- Complete all new hire I-9 documentation and manage I-9 files.
- Reconcile invoices for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
- Handle unemployment verifications and discrepancies.
- Review monthly commission and bonus submissions for compliance with eligibility criteria, processing payments as necessary.
- Calculate and communicate sales commissions to representatives.
- Contribute to team objectives by completing related tasks as required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse workforce.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent 10-key typing skills and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficient in QuickBooks with a minimum of two years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
