Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Christus Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify patient medication records and maintain accurate and complete records.
- Compound non-sterile pharmaceuticals and provide services in a timely and efficient manner.
- Issue controlled substances to patient care areas and maintain records as required by law and institutional policies.
- Verify daily activities and maintain competency required for current job title/position.
- Maintain current technician license and ensure applicable CE records and licensure are maintained in department files.
- Attend staff meetings and complete all competency/skills assessment requirements.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Registered Pharmacy technician in the State of practice required.
- Certified pharmacy technician preferred.
Work Schedule: TBD
Work Type: Part Time
