Community Program Facilitator Job Opportunity
Homes for the Homeless, Inc. invites applications for a Community Program Facilitator to assist in program management, track activities, and recommend improvements based on client feedback. The successful candidate will work closely with program directors and staff to ensure effective operations.

About Homes for the Homeless
We operate family shelters in NYC, providing more than just a place to sleep. Our residents can access various onsite programs, available to the local community as well. Our goal is to have a lasting impact, enabling families to thrive after leaving our shelters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with program directors and staff
  • Track program activities, events, trips, and partnerships
  • Manage program media with the Central office
  • Coordinate volunteers for each program
  • Organize donations and identify potential partnerships
  • Research current trends for age groups served by each program
  • Attend community fairs and meetings to promote programs
  • Coordinate special events for shelter residents
  • Obtain client feedback and recommend program improvements

Qualifications and Benefits:
  • Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least one-year experience working in a related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to create reports and surveys
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
